Overview
The Marketing Coordinator is instrumental in developing and executing marketing initiatives that deliver measurable outcomes across the organization. The Marketing Coordinator assists in the development and execution of internal and external strategic plans, promotions, market research and internal brand stewardship. The position reports to the Marketing Manager and provides additional support to the overall marketing team.
Job Description
- Support project management on key internal organizational initiatives to drive sales, partner activations, registrations, awareness and/or participation.
- Coordinate and implement the execution of marketing plans with an emphasis on growing revenues, acquiring new audiences, and creating the best-in-class fan experience.
- Support a number of marketing programs including, but not limited to, Browns Backers Worldwide, Jr. Browns Backers, Barking Backers and the Global Markets Program in Nigeria and Italy.
- Assist in day-to-day operations of programming, including website upkeep, filing, event planning, and email correspondence.
- Assist in maintaining and scheduling the roster of seasonal Brand Ambassadors to support all programs throughout the year.
- Work to ensure partner obligations are being accounted for and tracked for respective programs.
- Cultivate relationships with and maintain database for local influencers, content creators, community members and stakeholders to support organizational goals.
- Maintain inventory levels, while sourcing and fulfilling promotional product needs.
- Grow Browns Express Access facial recognition program to enhance the fan experience.
- Manage the club's owned digital and broadcast assets.
- Coordinate targeted NFL league-wide marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate market research and measurement.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Previous marketing, advertising/brand management experience is preferred.
- Project management (i.e Asana) experience preferred.
- Possess the ability to multi-task, establish priorities and work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Basic software knowledge (Microsoft and Adobe platforms) preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication (Written and Verbal) skills
- Ability to work days, evenings, and weekend hours based on the needs of daily business operations, including all Browns home games and special events.
- Some potential travel specifically for Browns Backers related events.
- The ability to complete physical tasks, such as lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing stairs and being on your feet for long periods of time.
- Reliable transportation to/from Cleveland/Berea and outside events when required.
- The ability to think and work in a creative atmosphere and share ideas openly.
