Purpose:

The School of Education at Mount St. Joseph University invites applications for a full-time, term instructor beginning in August 2026. The preferred candidate will bring a strong background in mathematics education, classroom management, special education, and elementary education, as well as experience teaching in diverse educational settings.

Duties:

The successful candidate will teach a range of courses in undergraduate and graduate teacher preparation programs. Additional responsibilities may include advising students, supervising candidates in field experiences, monitoring and refining degree programs, supporting recruitment efforts, and providing service to the undergraduate or graduate program, department, university, and the broader professional community.

The candidate is expected to demonstrate a clear commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and to contribute positively to a collaborative team environment. This includes welcoming evolving responsibilities, exploring new opportunities to enhance the work of the division, and supporting colleagues in achieving shared goals. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
