Project Engineer &- Commercial Construction

We are seeking a Project Engineer to support commercial construction projects from award through final closeout. This role plays a key part in project coordination, documentation, and execution, working closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure projects run smoothly, stay organized, and meet quality and schedule expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project teams from preconstruction through closeout
  • Assist with RFIs, submittals, and overall project documentation
  • Review drawings, specifications, and contract requirements
  • Help develop and track project schedules and milestones
  • Monitor project progress, materials, and quality control
  • Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Assist with project closeout documentation and turnover processes
  • Support jobsite safety efforts and ensure compliance with company standards

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documents
  • Proficiency in construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.) and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel to project sites throughout Central and Southern Ohio
