Description

GasWerks, Columbus, OH has an immediate opening for a full-time Bar & Grill General Manager. The General Manager is responsible for all of restaurant operations, including hiring, training, scheduling, ensuring quality food presentation and fantastic guest experiences.


Responsibilities and Duties
- Overseeing both Front of House and Back of House Operations
- Interviewing, training and coaching co-workers.
- Completing all related fiscal management processes.
- Scheduling co-workers to provide for optimal guest experiences.
- Providing leadership and being a role model for all co-workers.
- Serving and/or bartending shifts
- Resolving guest concerns
- Providing oversight for large party bookings, special events and company specials
- Providing outstanding guest engagement and ensuring quality plate presentation.
- Setting high expectations for co-worker performance and ensuring all policies and practices are followed.


Salary: $52,000

Requirements

Requirements:
- Previous restaurant or bar experience
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Outstanding organization and time management skills
- Highly motivated for success
- Engaging personality and ability to lead by example
- Desire to grow with a rapidly expanding company, currently located in 10 states


Qualifications and Skills
- At least two years of bartending or serving experience in full-menu restaurants
- At least one year managerial or supervisory experience in restaurant industry
- A desire to grow as a leader and to daily be better than you were the day before.
