About the Role
We are looking for a Laborer to join our Operations team on our project in Columbus, OH. This is a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and preparing the worksite.
- Assisting safety team.
- Handling and moving jobsite materials.
- Assisting carpenters with any projects.
- Help with loading and unloading of deliveries.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Possess 1-year of construction experience.
- Understanding of safety and general construction knowledge.
- Provide primary support to our field supervision.
- Be able to use critical thinking to solve issues on the worksite.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.
- Work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, and can see & hear well either naturally or with correction.
- Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.
Preferred:
- Individuals must be able to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment.
- Must be able to work outside.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekend hours.
- Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
