Job Details:
Provide administrative and clerical support to the Director of Continuing Medical Education. Schedule meetings, perform general office clerical duties and act as back up for other coordinators if needed. Provide administrative/clerical support of all CME activities at Dayton Children's Hospital. Work closely with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), and Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine CME Department. Excellent typing and organizational skills, the ability to set goals, prioritize, multi-task, make decisions, compose letters, generate agendas and take meeting minutes are required. Very good interpersonal skills are essential.

Hours: 730-4pm ( M-F )

Education:
GED or High School diploma is required.

Experience:
5 yrs experience specializing as office coordinator.
Microsoft Office (Outlook), typing, communication, computer proficiency, customer service, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications
An associate degree and 5–10 years of relevant experience.

Pediatric Residency Program Administrator

  • builds schedules for academic year of 13 blocks

  • assign evaluations for each block/rotation in RMS

  • submit reimbursements in Workday

  • pay invoices by credit card or check request

  • participates in Welcome session for interviews for over 100 applicants-

  • participates in orientation sessions, welcome breakfast and guest speakers

  • schedule meetings including conference rooms and assist with calendar for Program Director

  • manages residents' files in RMS uploading necessary documents

  • completes verification for past graduates

  • plans menu for residents' lunches, business meetings and orientation

  • creates community medicine schedule each block for assigned resident.

  • orders office supplies for the medical education department
