HVAC Service Manager

Job Type: Full-Time

Experience Level: Mid-Senior (5 years)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead and grow our service operations. This individual will oversee field technicians, drive service revenue, and ensure operational excellence across service and maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of HVAC service technicians
  • Oversee daily service operations, scheduling, and dispatch
  • Drive service revenue through maintenance agreements, repairs, and upselling opportunities
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting guidance to field teams
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term client relationships
  • Manage P&L responsibilities including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies
  • Partner with sales and project teams to identify new business opportunities

Qualifications

  • 5 years of HVAC industry experience (service or operations required)
  • 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems (RTUs, chillers, boilers, controls, refrigeration)
  • Experience with service scheduling, dispatch, and technician management
  • Proven ability to drive revenue and improve service performance
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
  • EPA Certification required; NATE or other certifications preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
