    Director of Human Resources: Lakewood Board of Education; 2026-2027 school year; 260 Day Administrative Contract; Appropriate administrative license required; Successful experience in Human Resource Management is desirable and preferred; previous school administrator experience is required. OPES certification required; Master\"s degree or higher; Reports to the Superintendent and/or designee.

    The successful candidate must be able to:

    &Direct the district\"s personnel operations.

    &Understand all aspects of Negotiated Agreements (certified and classified) and Collective Bargaining

    &Have current knowledge on School Law

    &Maintain confidentiality regarding personnel items

    &Work cooperatively with all bargaining groups

    &Understand and assist licensed staff through the use of the OTES, OSCES and OPES models of evaluation and eTPES documentation.

    &Perform the duties and responsibilities of the District Title IX Coordinator

    &Recognize the need to build a staff that is representative of the ethnic culture of the district. Assist in the selection, retention, evaluation, reassignment and promotion of all personnel.

    &Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills and a proven ability to build productive relationships with, and communicate complex messages to, a wide variety of stakeholders;

    Position begins: August 1, 2026
