Position Summary
The Marketing & Brand Support Coordinator is a part-time role focused on supporting The Ohioan Hotel & Event Center’s continued rebranding efforts and driving transient demand. This position will play a key role in ensuring brand consistency across all guest-facing materials while assisting in the execution of marketing initiatives that increase direct bookings and overall hotel visibility.
This role will work closely with the Assistant Director of Sales and leadership team to support both short-term revenue opportunities and long-term brand positioning.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Document Management
Review, edit, and update internal and external documents to align with The Ohioan brand standards
- Ensure consistency in tone, formatting, and messaging across all guest-facing materials
- Assist in updating sales collateral, proposals, email templates, and operational documents
- Maintain organized digital files and version control for all branded materials
Marketing & Transient Demand Support
- Support the execution of marketing campaigns aimed at increasing transient hotel bookings
- Assist in developing and refining promotional offers and packages
- Help coordinate email marketing efforts, including content updates and audience targeting
- Collaborate with Sales and Front Desk teams to ensure marketing offers are properly built and maintained
Content & Communication
- Draft and edit marketing content for emails, website updates, and promotional materials
- Assist in highlighting property features and experiences
- Ensure messaging supports direct booking strategies
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Work with Sales to develop and refine package ideas and promotions
- Partner with Front Desk to ensure offers are accurately implemented
- Support leadership with ad hoc marketing or branding projects
Qualifications
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- High attention to detail and organizational ability
- Experience with marketing, hospitality, or administrative support preferred
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms or CRM systems is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time position (15&-25 hours per week, flexible scheduling)
- Hourly rate based on experience
